Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, somehow Ricardo Di Ceglia was born drawing. As far back as he can remember, his first artistic piece was produced with food when he was about one year old. Today Ricardo is thirty-five and he still can't manage to stop that!
When he didn't create with his food, Ricardo became a graphic designer and later a web designer. Not fully satisfied with his career choices and goals, he started traveling the world beginning in 2003, searching out new ways to express his art.
Ricardo considers himself an artist who travels the world seeking all varieties of materials, styles and techniques, yet ending up creating the ones of his own. He has lived in England for the last seven years after visiting many countries.
Finally, in April of 2010, Ricardo opened his own art studio and now has the space he has always dreamed of.
Ricardo has had a few exhibitions in England. Two of his paintings were in the 2010 Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. This Exhibition and his participation in The Horror Zine has given Ricardo great incentives to keep creating.
